TAPS...

Current mood: ASSSSSSSS....
Category: ASSSSSSSS.... Goals, Plans, Hopes

There's a TV program called
Grand Designs and it follows the design and making of a spentabulous house..

The episode I saw featured a posh couple: One was an architect and the other was his wife.

They were both as dull as a day in October and as stupid as a pack of dishwasher tablets, and to prove it, they made their kids jump up and down on a trampolene, located inside a wire mesh (incase their fell off and learnt something about the vacuosity of their lives)

So, they're building this house - it's an ugly white and expensive cube...

And as they're building the outside of this horror show, they start talking about their carbon neutral plasterboard - or whatever the fuck it was...

Then later on they start talkling about their taps.

This hi-tech kitchen tap cost £1000 ($2000).

That's a thousand £ for one tap in the kitchen..

It kinda put their 'carbon neutral, we give a shit' attitude into perspective....

simon

I caught the last five minutes of that episode and that's all it took to make me not want to live in that souless house that looked more like someones office rather than a house.
It was soooo cold and sterile awful awful place no matter what they wasted on the taps!!

Yeah...

I'm not against modern buildings - but that was like a mortuary crossed with laboratory...

Deathly...

Wendy

Brrrr....

Why would you want to dignify that shit with a mention in your lovely Blinger?

Stick to the day job, PG, and avoid day-time tv!

Mrs G likes these things...

For that matter, I don't actually much mind that show. I like to see how houses are built - I just wish they'd build the odd cheap one rather than feature all those cash flushed dullards..
