ALL YOU DEEP AND COMPLICATED TYPES...

Current mood: TOO BUSY FOR GOD..
Category: TOO BUSY FOR GOD.. Music

I'd quite like to know if this myspazz represents some kind of crackpot tribe of loonies or holds the answer to all mine and the worlds problems...?!?

So, does anyone fancy examining and analysing it for me and all the readers of The Futureproof Music (and general spiritual theory) Blog???

You know I'd do it myself, but I no longer have the concentration span and have been invited to go and take drugs with they came from the stars I saw them and a bunch of abandonned Morrissey fans (The King cancelled his remaining London gigs due to a sore throat)

I also have to go collect a printer, watch a German comedian, clean the flat and write a whole host of serious and intensely clever music reviews...

Then, I need to read 200 books, talk to my pet worms, feed Trevor, sing to the plants, guard Fort Giovanna against Baillifs, annoy Mrs Giovanni, make a million pounds (by Friday at the latest) and resist serious and stable work AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Thanks in advance...))

I like your previous posting - I think it may contain deep elemental truths...

I'll get my assistant to translate it...

tiffany the lass à la piratepods

it holds the loonies and answers ... you just need to know where to look.
both groups are great entertainment.
how long do you think this myspace craze will last ?
i know my kids HATE it (or at least hate it when their mummy is on it).
paloma's, too.
their generation might not be into it (because of their parent's abuse and addiction).
the queen suggested they start a support group.

I think myspace is becoming entirely populated by freaks...

All the sensible and clever people have fucked off to F*(^£book leaving all the masochistic weirdos who like to use badly organised and rather shoddy websites to rot here in Toms amoral and pestilent grotto...

No, that's just a myth being propagated by Facebook and of course, everyone believes it and migrates. We live in a world where everyone drinks carling simply because they MUST 'belong.' The truth remains that Facebook is for cunts who wish to lead 'aspirational' lifestyles while thinking 'Heat' is a stimulating read...

La Paloma, the Queen of Infinity

i have a F***book account, but like i have said before, don't know quite what to do with it. it does not seem to have any value to me. though, i am getting a lot of peer pressure to give up on myspace and join in on all the fun at F***book.

..i am a myspace whore. my children will grow up and need therapy for "Adult Children of Myspace Addicts" syndrom...

The Cupid Kinkyboots Fan Club

I migrated over here from Yahoo Groups in September. When I was looking for my new virtual home I figured Facebook was for snooty who's-who types. That's the way it struck me. Kind of just a virtual dog and pony show. A place for phonies. I mean, look at how they describe themselves, right on their front page - "Facebook is a social utility that connects
you with the people around you." How clinically unexciting. Makes me feel like I'm some kind of leper or something. MySpace, on the other hand, is "a place for friends." Much more inviting, friendly, and nice. That lower case font they use does it every time. Plus, MySpace is just better. Except when Tom gives you the boot, but that's a whole different story.

'Kind of a virtual dog and pony show...'

HA HA HA HAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

And you know what?? Everyone I know that uses Facebook always apologises and says 'they don't know why they use it..'

Shit, if I didn't know why I was using something I'd stop there and then...

i think there's some interesting things to think about in regards myspace... i've been approached by the sociology dept at my uni to follow up on some stuff i did last semester on "the entrepreneurial hyppereal self" in the form of an honours thesis, so i suppose i'll have some more answers for you in eighteen months time, if you're still keen then (short attention span not withstanding)... so not entirely spiritual, mind you (tho if pressed i could be drawn on the wider internet as collective conscious)...

Wendy

In Myspace...everybody hears you scream.

(Btw...my 16yr old workaholic of a son who tends to hog the pc from around 4.30pm til 11ish [even tho we all chipped in for a {GOOD((But not yet on tinternet))}lap-top at Christmas] started off on Bebo cos it weren't cool to be seen on the same networking site as parents...progressed to F***book and eventually came to the conclusion that "Myspace is actually ok actually". HA! One-nil!

Also I heard recently that F***book only aquired about 8% of the social networking clientelle over the Festive season compared with about 79% for Myspacers. HA! [This however does pose the eternal question, oft cited/sighted/sited in this blog; "Pop{Popular}=Quality-Disect".])

:)))

Mmmm....

That the spazz had 79% says everything about the failure, mentalist alineated users like ourselves that use it...

Meanwhile, the straight, level and sensible facefuckers were singing carols and jollying up the turkey....

It also says that Facefucks only purpose is 'wasting time whilst at work...'

Treacle

Apologies Sir Giovanni,
Your assistant was temporarily out of the office destroying her life with alcohol, here is my Major Briggs style translation of the above message:

In my opinion myspace is a place of intrigue, whereas facebook is for spying on people and generally practicing the art of being a cunt, but the occasional indulgence is mere sport...
