FISH ISLAND IS THE CENTER OF THE WORLD... Current mood: gimme the drugs... Category: gimme the drugs... Music I've always sincerely believed Fish Island to be the center of the universe... Yes boss, there's something very strangely beautiful about this place, and todays news that Amy Winehouse appears to have moved over from the hell hole that is Camden to take up residence on a more permanent basis here on Le Fish only adds a dead and rather bloated dog to my canal... Amy moves in bringing all the essentials for a long stay on Fish As does the news that last night at 4am it was Pistol Pete Doherty's turn to come and taste the delights of Londons chic-est location.. In fact, as 2007 draws to a close, statistics have revealed (1) that there are now more pop stars per square inch on Fish Island than in any other old and run down London industrial estate.... Furthermore, Fish Island is now confirmed as being THE most fashionable place to take drugs, since all the junkies were wiped off the streets of New York... It's also home to the worlds best music writer etc etc BLAH FUCKING BLAH... (PS) I woke up this morning thinking "BY CHRIST, I'M GOING TO STOP ALL THIS GOSIPPY TITTLE TATTLE AND WRITE SOME GOOD AND DISTINGUISHED MUSIC REVIEWS!!!" It was a nice idea, but like many such ideas it has yet to come to pass...
