Going to St Pauls Cathedral on Xmas morning.
The Organ was laced in echo, the singing was awful (lacklustre, embarrassed, drowned by the organ) the procession was half decent and THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET ORGAN AT THE REAR OF THE CHURCH WAS HUGE!!!
Yes boss, there's about 123 trumpets 40 meters off the ground on the back wall and at the start of the communion they throw OUT A HUGE FUCKING GREAT FANFARE!!
Hearing it was worth the hour and a half of torpour that was the rest of the service...
Being reminded of how good Konono No1 are...
Recieving The Best of Dire Straits & Mark Knopfler (Private Investigations) on CD as an extra gift from my brother.
He bought it by mistake and thought I might like it...?!
Recieving a digital radio from my sister.
This also flicks to analogue FM which means I can wire up the pirate radio stations through my main hi-fi for the first time in a while.
I love the energy pirate radio stations work up. It's a bunch of guys in a room in a tower block - as if they're infront of 10,000 ravers somewhere in a field in Hampshire...
