	: THE FUTUREPROOF MUSIC BLOG BY PIOUS GIOVANNI :	Each of the 12 spins has been filmed in it's entirety, or as close as to as the technology allows. So there are hundreds and hundreds of hours of footage now... In this case, I think the sentiment of the track and the loneliness of endless motorway driving at night also ties very very well.. Before starting this years spin, I was wondering if the novelty might soon go and that I'd be wanting to get out ASAP - be counting down the hours. I felt it might be every bit as boring as it sounds on paper. But by the end of the 25 hours, I'd have been quite happy to keep going for a good while longer..... But yes, when you take 'the purpose' of going somewhere out of the equation, you pay so much more attention to the route of going and see things in a completely different way... I found it was like watching a 25 hour abstract film with the windscreen being the screen... Of course the drugs helped, but as Mr Drummond attests to in his piece on the original spin, they are by no means essential to gaining an experinece from such an event...
