As soon as the PGC mutates into the FMC and is dealing with it's million pound budget, all staff will be issued with bastard ugly reconditioned PC's with bits hanging off of them. They will be guaranteed to work at all times including in the aftermarth of a nuclear war....

Whats with the Sir Cliff and Crazy Frog??? Good middle run of Cat Power, Anthony and the Johnsons and can't remember who though.

Theres so many great covers out there and we get Crazy fucking Frog (all of it too), the most irritating record ever released bar none. I didn't make it to the end of Sir Cliff either i'm afraid.

I shoulda sent you Rodeohead, which woulda been cool what with all your Thom baiting, hehe. You should check that one out.

Cliff Richard because that track was about the most Rock N Roll number 1 of the last 10 years...

In my view Rock N Roll isn't all about Jack Daniels, tight jeans and rawkus guitars. It's about doing something different, that's daring, that gets people backs up, that kicks against the pricks and most importantly - that wins..

Millenium Prayer did that far more than Oasis can ever dream of doing

Like I say in Paulies Tallkies, that isn't to say I listen to the track more than once in a blue moon, or that I even like it.

I admire it purely on a conceptual level. It had no radio play but still got to be Number 1. It preached a currently unpopular sentiment. It didn't try to be fashionable. Cliff stuck to his guns and he won...

Crazy Frog because I love the track - simple as...

It just doesn't make for good listening, cos when listening your only feeling the music not the story behind it.

Crazy Frog. It was onlty that it was 2am in the morning and I was wrecked that I couldn't scrape myself out of the chair to move it on a bit, but it was painful to listen to, haha. I sense a blog coming where PG explains what makes Crazy Frog so great (like your Barbie Girl one).

Great to hear Whitney Does The Jamms though (I think that was what it was called). Aint heard that since it came out.

Watch this video. It's brilliant!

There's sure as shit gonna be a fuller and bigger version of the blog as to why Cliff Richard was (fo rone brief and glorious moment) Rock 'N Roll..

I'm not so big a fan of The Frog that he'll get a blog all to himself..

He just tapped into my love of cheesy catchy poop...))
