OK...
So, after a few weeks with continental barriers to my reporting of hits, I'm back this week, with a bunch of stuff both new and old...
TO START WITH
Let's go new....
The first one I've got isn't however really new at all - at least the style of music isn't. It is however the very first time I've knowingly listened to any Northern Soul and given that I like this version of said genre, I'm going to put you onto Johnny Boy
Something completely different to that is Mike Love 666. Mostly noise, I'm very fond of his 'Grooving Hitler' pic and the track called The Whoring of Tra...
Thirdly, I'd suggest you check out Pop White Label. PWL, together with it's sister white label spazzez appears to be some kind of promo network for new acts. I like their style and the Kitsch version of The Model is something I can go with...
Lastly...I've got a cracking LP by a dub act called Deadbeat. A full review will be coming your way tomorrow - in the meantime I'll say this LP is the perfect antidote to all that shitty heroin dubstep that is, for a reason I can't for the life of me fathom, very popoular at the current moment.....
STAPLES
Plenty..
Still Lee Hazlewood
Artful Dodger
Philip Glass

LIVE
I had a whole bunch of stuff to see this last weekend, but I didn't fancy it, so I stayed at home and got drunk instead.
This Thursday there is however BEAT ROCK
And on Sunday they came from the stars I saw them will be playing outside The Royal Festival Hall for free as part of Jarvis Cockers meltdown...
MIXES
These days, no-one comes close to the Engrish Professor for mixes. His myspazz page points you to a whole load for free download and this link prods you in the direction of some treble treats per gratis...

I'd be lapping them if I were you. In fact I am lapping them up...
So, that's that.
If anyone has any tips for good quality electronica from parts of the globe that aren't the UK, EUROPE & US, please drop me some links and lines with details. I reckon there's a healthy big wave coming and naturally I want to be looking suntanned and pretty atop it's crest......
